OUR #1 PRIORITY IS TO PROTECT YOU & THE CHILDREN
For so many families, buying a home seems like an impossible undertaking they can't possibly be ready for. But finding the right home is really a giant leap that can be broken down into three smaller, easy steps you can take at your own pace. Our goal is to prepare you for a great home buying experience.
THREE EASY STEPS
Step One: Education
We use only the best, proven organizations to protect you from being taken advantage of. Our partner affiliates are approved by the Federal Housing Authority, your state, private entities, nonprofit housing organizations and other watchdogs. We'll put you in touch with one or more of these organizations, and they will be honest about whether or not you're financially ready for home ownership.
Step Two: Qualified Agents
All of our partner agents are pre-screened, highly-trained specialists who work with all families, but are particularly committed to supporting single parents. To protect you, our other clients and the integrity of our work, these are the only agents allowed to utilize our program. Once you've told us you'd like to start working with an agent, we'll have one contact you at your convienience.
Step Three: Take advantage of our resources
Some states require that you obtain a housing certificate to use their grants, loans or other housing programs. That usually means you have to attend a first time homebuyer seminar that are conducted by various nonprofit agencies. Once you're pre-qualified, our lending partner will let you know what classes are available in your area.
Under a new Federal law, you have the right to receive a free copy of your credit report once every 12 months from each of the three nationwide consumer reporting companies. To request your free annual report under that law, you must go to www.annualcreditreport.com.
